Serving with purpose: our partnership with zaban paradies center
This past Tuesday, the team at Survive and Conquer had the opportunity to partner with the incredible Zaban Paradies Center to assist in serving members of the Atlanta community experiencing homelessness and hardship.
Together, we helped provide food, access to showers, laundry services, and clothing to individuals in need throughout the city. What stood out to me the most was not only the services being provided, but the love, dignity, and compassion that filled the environment from the moment we walked through the doors.
I had only recently learned about Zaban Paradies Center, but witnessing their dedication firsthand truly warmed my heart. Their willingness to pour into people during some of the hardest moments of their lives is inspiring. They have created more than just a shelter — they’ve created a safe space for couples and individuals to feel seen, supported, and valued while working toward stability and hope.
Our team was proud to donate bags of clothing not only for the people receiving services that day, but also for the residents currently living within the shelter. Being able to give back in a meaningful way reminded us exactly why Survive and Conquer exists: to advocate for people, restore hope, and remind others they are not alone in their journey.
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness — a warm meal, clean clothes, a shower, or simply being treated with respect — can restore someone’s faith in humanity. Tuesday reminded us that community matters, and when organizations come together with genuine hearts, real change happens.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside Zaban Paradies Center and look forward to continuing to support their mission in the future.
To everyone who donates, volunteers, supports, or shares our mission: thank you. Because of community support, we are able to continue showing up for people who need it most.
Together, we will continue to survive and conquer.
