A Day of Impact: Serving Over 200 Lives in College Park

Yesterday was more than just an event — it was a powerful reflection of what happens when community, compassion, and purpose align.

Hosted at the Keith James Auditorium in College Park, directly beside City Hall, Survive and Conquer Foundation had the honor of serving the community in a way that went far beyond expectations.

From the moment the doors opened, the room was filled with energy, gratitude, and connection. Families walked in seeking support — and left with resources, relief, and a renewed sense of hope.

We are proud to share that we served over 200 individuals, providing essential care bags, food, clothing, and household items. With generous support from Amazon and Walmart, we had an overwhelming amount of supplies. In fact, we brought in a full truckload of clothes — and even received additional donations throughout the day.

There was no shortage. There was only giving.

We weren’t counting items — we were making sure every single person left with what they needed and more. It became a space of true abundance, where people were not just helped, but genuinely blessed.

This level of impact is only possible through strong partnerships. We are proud to highlight Food in the City, an incredible nonprofit and official partner with the city, whose dedication to serving communities continues to create real, lasting change. Their presence and support helped elevate this event to another level.

We are also honored to continue building alongside CASA as an official partner of Survive and Conquer Foundation. Together, we are creating a network of support that reaches deeper into the community and meets people where they are.

A very special thank you goes to Dr. Jamelle McKenzie, whose leadership and support made this event possible. By helping us secure the Keith James Auditorium, he created the opportunity for this level of impact to happen. This is what it looks like when leadership truly serves the people.

And to the man who helped bring it all together — Jakeem Smith — thank you for the invitation and for being an incredible host. Your consistency, your love for the community, and the way you always show up does not go unnoticed. You lead with heart, and it shows in every detail.

To every volunteer who showed up — you are the foundation of this work. Your time, your energy, your compassion… it all mattered. Every interaction created a ripple effect that will extend far beyond yesterday.

This event wasn’t just about resources.

It was about restoration.

It was about dignity.

It was about reminding people that they are not alone.

At Survive and Conquer Foundation, we will continue to show up, continue to give back, and continue to instill hope and resilience into every community we touch.

Yesterday was proof of what’s possible.

And we’re just getting started.

If you believe in our mission, we invite you to follow us, share our story, and support our work through donations. Because there are still so many lives to reach — and we are committed to doing just that.

Together, we don’t just survive… we conquer.
